Lā Hoʻihoʻi Ea 2023

“Ua mau ke ea o ka aina i ka pono.”

A mini capsule in honor of Lā Hoʻihoʻi Ea! These words of ke aliʻi Kauikeaouli have stayed with us Kānaka Maoli from when it was first spoken in 1843, through all the trying times that weʻve experienced, carying us all the way to 2023. It will continue to serve as a reminder that the “ea” of this land is perpetuated through “pono.”
